My story

The grocery store was established about two years ago. I established it out of the importance of settling the Jordan Valley. The grocery store operates on a trust basis, meaning there are no opening hours and no salesperson. The store is open 24/6, and residents enter independently, take products, and register them on a computer.

Currently, I need money for:

Managing the daily operations of the business without constant financial strain.
Continuing to upgrade the business with basic necessities and additional items, such as more freezers, an emergency generator, etc.
Trying to develop and move forward, such as expanding the grocery store, adding more general merchandise, etc.

The grocery store serves the entire population during wartime, when fathers are recruited and the reality becomes more challenging.

My business - My spark

I built the grocery store with my own hands, without any external help. As is known, there are many things needed for basic daily operations in the store, such as refrigerators, freezers, a cooling room, a computer, screens, and more. Additionally, there is the basic inventory of the grocery store that needs to be maintained, worth several hundred thousand shekels.

My name is Aviel Shraga, 28 years old, married with three children. I live in Mevo'ot Yericho. About three years ago, I came to this settlement out of a mission to settle the Land of Israel. After living here for a year, I understood the residents' need for a grocery store. The nearest grocery store is a 20-minute drive away. I decided to open a grocery store to ease the residents' lives. Naturally, in a place like ours, there are almost no suppliers willing to come and deliver goods here, so I make a great effort to travel and bring in goods as needed. Today, two years after the establishment, thank God, the business is slowly developing and growing.
