Chen Creates Radiant Soul Art
My business blends traditional craftsmanship with advanced lighting technology; I was chosen for my design innovation and need this loan for equipment to illuminate spaces creatively.
My story
My name is Chen, I am 34 years old from Hod Hasharon, married to Dan, and a lighting artist at heart. In my studio, I explore the connection between material and light, striving to breathe life into the legacy of thinkers and leaders who shaped humanity. My creation is a precise blend of traditional handicrafts such as glassblowing and weaving with innovative technologies like laser cutting and 3D printing. Beyond art, I am a vegan who believes in compassion as a significant force in the world, and I volunteer weekly at “Keren Or,” a rehabilitative farm for animals that also provides a healing space for people dealing with post-trauma and other challenges. For me, bringing light into the world is a daily mission expressed through both art and simple human connection.
Micro lending, Macro Impact
This loan will help me bridge cash flow gaps created by the complex situation in Israel and payment delays from institutional clients. This loan will help finance the continued ongoing operations of the studio, ensuring fair and timely payment to the suppliers and professionals I work with. Maintaining reliable and professional relationships is a critical foundation for my business stability. Your support will allow me to take on new and larger projects, maintain a high quality workflow, and develop new models that will spread light in homes and public spaces across Israel and the world.
My business - My spark
The uniqueness of my business lies in creating an aesthetic that touches the emotions and is personally tailored to the person and the place. Every piece that leaves the studio is a valuable asset, produced in collaboration with local artisans and Israeli factories. In recent years, I have focused on light installations for public spaces—environmental light sculptures designed to inspire a sense of greatness in a wide audience. My works have been showcased in solo exhibitions and prestigious design events such as "Fresh Paint" and Milan Design Week, gaining international recognition. The added value I bring is the ability to transform a lighting fixture into a work of art with cultural depth, identity, and meaning.
A few more words
My dream is to expand the circles of light and place illuminated environmental sculptures in public spaces across the United States and worldwide. I believe that light has the power to heal, connect, and move people to act out of love and giving. Every message I receive from a client saying that my creation lit up their heart moves me anew and reminds me of the power of community to support and illuminate one another. Thank you for being partners in my journey to spread hope and beauty through light, creating a small change that accumulates into a great light in the world.
