Flowers of Hope and Design with Raaya Cohen
A creative event design and branding business in Ashkelon led by an ultra orthodox single mother specializing in custom concept events weddings and flower arranging workshops that combine art with an inspiring life story.
My story
My business focuses on event design, concept events, businesses and weddings tailored to your dreams. I am Raaya from Ashkelon and I am a single mother to seven wonderful children. A few years ago I made the difficult decision to dismantle my home to save myself and my children from a relationship full of challenges and addictions. Since then I choose life every day and fill it with joy and growth. I design and weave flowers while leading workshops that combine floral art with my personal story of how I turned the broken pieces of my life into a funnel of joy. I believe every woman deserves to live in well being and my business is my greatest passion.
Micro lending, Macro Impact
The loan is intended primarily for purchasing equipment for the business and for marketing and advertising. In a world that is not easy for self employed people and especially for an ultra orthodox woman, raising seven children alone, this loan is a true anchor. It provides a real opportunity for me to grow and realize my business potential. This support is the springboard that allows my dreams to become reality and helps me manage my financial commitments with stability while focusing on the growth of my craft.
My business - My spark
There is a clear parallel between flowers, plants and people. The process of growth and the addition of light that a plant experiences is very similar to the healing and growth I have experienced. I am excited every time to echo these messages through my talent. For years my potential was hidden due to life challenges and now the process of bringing it to life is inspiring to others and especially to myself. My motivation comes from helping other women find their strength during times of crisis and showing them that growth is always possible.
A few more words
I am deeply grateful for your trust and support. Beyond the loan, you have given me a real chance to move forward. I believe that every woman deserves to live with joy and I am committed to using this opportunity to build a stable and flourishing future for my family. I look forward to creating many more exciting events and sharing the beauty of growth with my community.
