Our business in Kahal is an agricultural farm specializing in growing fruit trees, including mangoes, lychees, pomegranates, and figs. At the beginning of our journey, we also experimented with growing flowers in a greenhouse and cultivating table grapes. We established the farm out of a desire to engage in agriculture and be part of a community of farmers who began building farms in Galilee in the early 1980s. We need the loan to invest in agricultural mechanization, precise irrigation systems, and other equipment that will help us advance further.

Micro lending, Macro Impact

At the moment, the economy is being restored. It is our main source of employment, and we are investing in it as much as possible to succeed. Our customers are packing houses that export the fruit to Europe and the local market, as well as the public from the area who love our fruit. We need the loan to equip ourselves with agricultural mechanization, precise irrigation systems, and equipment that will advance us further. During the war - Einan was in reserve for more than half a year, which slightly delayed the development of the economy as we expected. The loan will allow the economy to grow and realize its full potential.

My business - My spark

Our business in Kahal is an agricultural farm engaged in growing fruit trees: mangoes, lychees, pomegranates, and figs. At the beginning of our journey, we also experimented with growing flowers and table grapes in a greenhouse. We established the farm out of a desire to engage in agriculture and to be part of a community of farmers who started building farms in Galilee in the early 1980s. My son Einan Shair, 34 years old, has been a farmer since he was born. He is an agronomist who manages the farm and its rehabilitation and develops post-harvest treatment of fruit.
