My story

My name is Ido, an industrial and management engineer with over a decade of experience in the solar field, and I manage the business together with my partner Tanya, a doctoral student in economics and financial behavior. We are parents of three children and live in Kibbutz Karmia near the Gaza envelope. Tanya and I chose to build our lives and our business specifically here out of a deep connection to the land and the community. During the Iron Swords war, we were evacuated from our home and I served over 200 days in the reserves, yet we continued to operate the business remotely out of a belief that it serves as a community anchor and national resilience. The combination of my engineering knowledge and Tanya’s financial expertise allows us to provide families in the periphery with solutions that combine advanced technology with real financial security.

This loan will help me recruit and train a dedicated salesperson from the Gaza envelope and southern region, a move that will strengthen the local economy and create new employment opportunities. These funds will also help support the expansion of business activities and reaching new customer audiences, which will free me to focus on project management and technological development.
