My story

I am Liat Cohen, an independent food business owner and the founder of a restaurant Mifgash Bahar. I operate from Moshav Zarit, near the Lebanese border, where my work is closely connected to the people and daily life of the area. The business grew out of a real need and is rooted in simple, home-style food and personal service.

My business - My spark

Mifgash Bahar is a food business established in 2015 and operating in Moshav Zarit, near the northern border. The place offers food in a home-style atmosphere and serves residents, soldiers, travelers, and workers in the area.
During the COVID period, the activity expanded to also include a small grocery, providing essential products alongside the food service. The business continues to grow based on the needs that arise from the area and the people who come through it.
