My business is a tourist farm combining orchards with guest units; I was chosen for my connection to the land and need this loan to upgrade infrastructure and continue hosting.
My story
My name is Lilach and I live with my family at Matnat Midbar farm located between Tlalim and Sde Boker. We established the farm in 2002 starting our journey with a small tent and a mat in the heart of desert sands. Over the years we prepared agricultural fields and developed a tourism venture including a secluded khan and family guest rooms. On the farm we grow wine grapes a saffron plot and an orchard of deciduous trees including apples and peaches. The combination of agriculture and tourism allows us to provide guests with a unique experience of connecting to nature and breathtaking views. For us the farm is a Zionist dream come true and a place where we raise our children with respect for the special desert surrounding us.

This loan will serve as a significant lever for expanding the tourism activities on the farm. We intend to use the funding to establish a new and designed event complex suitable for holding exciting family celebrations in the heart of the desert. The investment will allow us to develop the site and significantly improve the hospitality conditions for our guests while maintaining the design and environmental line that characterizes the farm. Developing the complex will increase the business's range of services and strengthen its financial stability while creating an additional revenue stream based on high quality tourism and events.

Our guests enjoy a blooming orchard and endless desert landscapes that change throughout the day. The experience we have gained since 2002 allows us to provide professional service based on a love for people and heartfelt hospitality that brings visitors back to us time and again.
