Mai Nurtures Eco-Therapy and Healing
Mai is an ecological farmer from Moshav Gimzo who requires this loan to upgrade her kitchen, add guest facilities, and build a shaded pergola to host therapeutic groups.
My story
My name is Mai, and along with my partner Yohai, I live on our family estate in Moshav Gimzo, situated right at the edge of the Ben Shemen Forest. I am deeply connected to the world of creation, regenerative agriculture, and people. My journey began out of a genuine passion for eco-centric living, ecological design, and the understanding that direct alignment with the earth is the most powerful way to convey warmth, psychological grounding, and emotional recovery to families nationwide. Living with our two sweet young children directly adjacent to our agricultural plot, we chose to reshape our destiny. Turning a profound belief in the healing properties of nature into a thriving independent profession, we founded ‘my business’, “Zemach Bar Farm”. With our own two hands, we built our ecological venture from scratch, specializing in chemical-free market gardening, soil rehabilitation, food forestry, and rehabilitative beekeeping. Today, we provide high-quality educational and celebratory community environments, turning our organic farm into a safe harbor of pure joy and absolute natural wellness.
Micro lending, Macro Impact
The loan will help me purchase professional agricultural and hosting assets and upgrade our farm's physical infrastructure and enrichment materials, allowing me to improve the business's operational capacity and expand our activity. For me, this is not just a technical investment, but a practical step toward breaking forward systematically, transforming our open landscape into an optimized therapeutic workspace by expanding our seasonal kitchen, establishing proper hospitality facilities, and constructing a protective pergola, and creating real, sustainable growth for a business built with my own two hands from the ground up to support civilian and military rehabilitation and foster community health.
My business - My spark
What makes my business unique is that this family-run agro-ecological farm is not just a workplace for me - it is my life's core mission. The empathy, care, and environmental sensitivity I bring to my operations give me the emotional depth to truly see every visitor, connect with their hearts, and provide them with a custom-made experience that builds confidence and holistic resilience. Featuring a seasonal field kitchen called 'Mayochka', the farm offers specialized farm-to-table workshops, mindful movement, somatic breathwork, and structured deceleration programs designed to help Israelis unplug from sensory overload. A core pillar of our operational vision is providing subsidised, trauma-informed care and structured therapy for war victims - including discharged soldiers, bereaved families, and those experiencing trauma and anxiety - supported by our dedicated non-profit foundation. Alongside the deep emotional bond established with those who seek refuge in our fields, the company offers an optimized, highly professional operational solution for organizations and individuals who require a structured, reliable, and deeply enriching holistic wellness program that engages participants through pure joy.
A few more words
Supporting me means supporting an independent entrepreneur who turned a personal ecological vision into a powerful source of light, imagination, and healing for families and recovering communities. It strengthens not only a small business, but also the ability to keep creating, growing, and fulfilling a lifelong mission: to make every client and therapeutic participant happy, confident, and filled with belief in themselves. Thank you.
