Ofir Makes Organic Olive Oil

My story

We have an agricultural business in the South of Israel that produces Olives and Olive Oil as well as Haas organic avocados. We also sell hay packed in small bales for feeding livestock and firewood for stoves from the cuttings of olive trees in our vineyard. I was released from a 52-day long reserve duty in the south and immediately returned to work on the farm but the war has greatly affected the business. We need a loan to pay debts and replace workers.

Micro lending, Macro Impact

Our problem at the moment is a desperate lack of workers, after the closure of the Authority's premises for workers. We also have outstanding debts to the suppliers of fertilizers and irrigation products that we have purchased on a regular basis. We need a loan to pay debts to suppliers, pay  Sri Lankan workers who will replace the Palestinian workers, and capital financing of the agricultural business.

I am Michael Ofir, married to Tal Ofir, and we are the parents of Shir, who is a student starting a master's degree in psychology, Roni who was released this week after 4.5 years of combat service in the army and Yonatan, who is currently in the year of service at the Mitzpe Lavi in the new Shumer.
