My story

My name is Aya, and I am the owner and practitioner behind Aya Aura. Born and raised in Jerusalem, I have always felt deeply connected to nature and mind-body balance. My personal journey with Shiatsu as a patient inspired me to become a practitioner myself, realizing that our greatest healing capacity resides within us. Later on, I integrated my passion for Yoga by qualifying as an instructor. Three years ago, I established Aya Aura in Moshav Ora in the Jerusalem hills—a tranquil, green sanctuary surrounded by gardens and open landscapes. Today, I offer group Yoga classes, Shiatsu bodywork, and mind-body workshops. Having grown from one weekly class to 13 classes serving 150 practitioners, I require this funding to upgrade our physical space and support our rising community.
