My story

My name is Or, I am 31 years old and currently living in Jerusalem. Despite challenges caused by the war, I chose to continue investing in my business and grow through the hardship. I have been a barber for over 13 years, starting my journey in a small shop under my house out of an immense love for the profession. I invested many hours in professional training in Israel and abroad to reach the highest professional level, and today I feel the time has come to pass this knowledge forward. The barbershop is everything to me; it is the combination of art and the smiles of people who leave us with a new sense of self-confidence. Now I am taking a step forward and establishing an academy that will serve as a home for barbers at the start of their journey and a place where they can build a future for themselves.

This loan will allow me to turn the dream of the academy into a reality and rehabilitate myself. The funding will be directed toward purchasing full professional equipment for the students, from training mannequins and hair clippers to all the necessary gear for beginners. Additionally, I will invest in extensive advertising to reach as many students as possible who need this opportunity in life.
